Sliding Type Line Blind
A pipe line is blinded by a plate sliding straight forward and backward. By operating the hand wheel, it allows one person to blind a heavy pipe line within 2 minutes.
Swing Type Line Blind
Heavy pipe lines can be blinded by operating the safe and easy to use hand wheel without spreading the line. It takes about 2 minutes to turn the hand wheel counter clockwise, making a gap to turn the spectacle plate. Turning hand wheel clockwise will securely close the blind valve.
Compact Type Line Blind
The Compact Type line blind is used for larger diameter pipe lines. This compact but heavy duty valve has a very short face-to-face takeout dimension with reduced weight. Similar to the Sliding Type line blind, this compact version is also operated by an integral hand wheel which can be operated within 2 minutes.
Non-Spill Type Line Blind
The body of the Sammi Non-Spill type line blind is enclosed to prevent spillage of the process fluid during open and close function of the blind. By containing the spillage, possible damage to the line blind and environmental housekeeping is greatly reduced. The Non-Spill has a very short face-to-face takeout dimension with reduced weight. As the hand wheel is turned, the blind plate is lifted up and rotated to set into position.
Jack Bolt Type Line Blind
The Sammi Jack Bolt type line blind is widely used in applications of extreme pressure and temperature. There are either 3 or 5 jack bolts used to operate and secure the line blind around the body. Although a heavy duty unit, the basic structure and design of the Jack Bolt type line blind makes it lower in cost compared to hand wheel operated blinds.
